Master of control! The three ways to be in charge of a situation
- Pretend everyone is your best friend
- Pay attention to people's feet when you approach them
- Sit next to someone if you're arguing
Francesca captioned the viral clip, which has so far amassed over 28,900 views, 'Three psychology tricks you need to know to control any situation.'
'Number one, when you're feeling shy and awkward because maybe you're meeting someone new or you're in a new environment, trick your brain to think that you already know the person that you're talking to, assume comfort.
'This not only makes you feel more relaxed, but it also makes people feel more comfortable around you and makes them like you more,' she said.
For her second tip, the content creator suggested you pay attention to people's feet when you are approaching them.
'So, let's say two people are talking and you're approaching them, if they only turn their torso but their don't turn their feet towards you, it means you're interrupting them and you should leave them alone.
'But, if their feet turn toward you, and their torso as well, it means they're welcoming you into the conversation,' she said.
Lastly, the psychologist detailed how you can diffuse a tense argument.
And it all comes down to where you decide to sit.

'Stay next to them, not in front of them. This can create the feeling of partnership instead of confrontation, like being pitted against each other.
'It's like we are looking at the problem together,' she said at the end of the video.
This is not the first time that Francesca has shared her invaluable insights on dating and relationships.
She previously dished on the biggest mistake people make when arguing with their partner as well as the six ways you can spot if someone really has a crush on you.
